Leaving the Overlook restaurant, there was a problem with Pauls Avanti. It took a couple hours to sort out, but we got back on the road as quick as we could. Next stop was Lexington, KY and a Chocolate Shop in a strip mall of surburban Lexington. On the way through the maze of rush hour traffic, we were stopped at a light and noticed another car club parked in a Hotel lot. A few of the owners came over and beckoned us to stop and chat, but time was at a premium and we pressed onward. Arrived at the Holiday Inn around 5:30 |
At 6:00PM, Paul & Karen Johnson hosted a hospitality room for the group and later, we all went to the Hotel restaurant for dinner The serenity of the hotel lasted until around midnight, when a Little League Softball team arrived...... In the morning, we were greeted with some steady rain... |
