Hinge pins & bushings for Studebaker Hawk: These are not exactly identical to the original, but fit perfectly. The original pins have a knurled shoulder and a lubrication spiral. The replacements do not. There are no bushings used on these hinges, the pins slide right thru the the 2 pieces, but may require some tapping to completely seat. HB 363 hinge bushings (2 per hinge) = $0.75 ea. ===================================================== May 2004 If they are like some other Studebaker hinges, such as on 2R trucks, you can drill out the heavy forged part of the hinge, press in GM hinge bushings, and use a shortened GM hinge pin. I did a pair of 2R hinges this way, and it works slick. And the parts are cheap. Ask for bushings and pins for a mid '80s pickup, but I think they have a much wider application than that in GM-land. BTW, I think I had to grind a small recess on the hinge leaf to accomodate the flange on the bushings. Gord Richmond ======================================================
