Underlayment
Armorflex...(industrial pipe insulation) comes in many thicknesses. I have a 4' wide roll.
Water repellant, oil resistant, sound deadens and insulates. I use it for carpet pad, firewall and 
trunk liners, and under-hood insulation. It really quiets a Hawk down. It can be glued in place with 
spray adhesive.
