Electric Fuel Pump Controller

Having more than one Murphy Switch controlling the fuel pump is a
recipe for trouble. I have always used an oil pressure switch and a
relay to feed juice to the fuel pump, and include a push button to
bypass the oil pressure switch for purposes of priming. Here is a
purpose-built safety relay that accomplishes the same thing, reading
tach pulses off the ignition (no tach needed) to tell if the engine
is running. It allows for 3 seconds of pump operation after initial
