1963 R-1196
This 1963 Studebaker Avanti is a rare find. It is original from the factory with only 93K miles.
Options include the V-8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Supercharger, Power Steering and Power Brakes.
The paint looks very good for its age. It is factory original. It has a few chips and some slight staining, but is in great condition for a 44-year old paint job. The car has never been repainted and has never been damaged. The chrome and stainless are in very good condition.
This car is completely RUST FREE. It was originally a California car and it was brought to Colorado many years ago. The metal has been well preserved in the dry climate.
The interior is factory original and is very nice. There is a slight tear in the driver's seat (it is hardly noticeable).
The car runs and drives great! Everything works (with the exception of the clock). The tachometer is not original (they are available).
This car has been well cared for and maintained over the years, and it really shows.
A picture album with 52 pictures is available for viewing at https://groups.msn.com/coloradocarnut. The album includes pictures of the underside of the car.
Please email your questions to hefnertroy@msn.com. A reply will be given as soon as possible.
We may need to end the auction early since the car is offered for sale locally. Please bid early to show your intentions. The reserve price is $15,000. The reserve may be dropped before the end of the auction.
This is a very nice and original car. Don't miss out
