Remains of Springhouse at original Homestead

      1) Route 30 between Gettysburg and York, PA
      2) New Oxford
      Depart New Oxford at the traffic circle north on Oxford Road (Route 94)
      3) Appx 6 miles to New Chester
      Straight through the STOP sign at New Chester
      4) in Appx 2 miles, Studebaker lane on the left

      Turn left on Studebaker Lane and drive on paved surface for about 6/10 mile.
      Monument is on right, across from a small house.

      There are no parking facilities and the road is narrow,
      so caution is urged whether in a caravan or cars or by yourself.
      Cars can pull to the side of the road
      Please respect the property rights of nearby residents.
