(SR 1015), just off PA 234, 1/2 mile E of Heidlersburg,

  • Take Route 30 east from Gettysburg to Route 15 North
  • Take Route 15 north for appx 8.3 miles
  • Take the PA-234 exit to E Berlin
  • Turn right at E Berlin Rd /PA-234, to Oxford road ( .2mi)
  • Turn right at Oxford Rd, 177 feet to house

  • 200 West King St, East Berlin, PA 17316

  • From Route 15, take Pa-234 (toward East Berlin)
  • Pass Oxford road ( John Studebaker's house) for 4 miles and cross Route 94
  • Five miles further top East Berlin.
  • Route 234 turns into King Street in East Berlin

Note: John C.'s house, at the site of the monument, burned in 1904.
