Morning at the La Posada, which translates to "The Resting Place"
Many paintings and antiques
A bit of trivia. In the long hall that led to our rooms was a table ( In the above picture) with local magazines, for the patrons to look over. It just so happened that there was a quarterly from the "Ferrari Owners Association". I picked it up and paged through it, noticing that the address of the Ferrari Association was "18000 STUDEBAKER Road, Cerritos, CA"

At the entrance to the Petrified Forest Preserve
In one of the trinket shops
Many fossilized logs lying around
Some are pretty big
Onto the Painted Dessert National Park
On the way are many view -centric sites

Finally, the Painted Desert
It's just a turnoff with an overlook
