Vehicle Description 1963 Avanti R1, all fiberglass, 4 speed, 3.73 rear end with recent starter, altinator, voltage regulator upgrades. I am the second owner since 1970 maintaining this auto in running, registered, heated storage for 37 years. Not a trailered show car but could be, or used as a head turning driver now. Comes with factory service and parts manuals (parts available). With under 69K the original motor is strong 65+ oil pressure hot, the rocker shafts, original, look chrome plated showing no sludge. From age the valve seals and rear oil seal could be replaced (slight puff if it idles a while - rear seal might swell if driven) however it runs just fine using no oil. The boxed X member frame means no stress cracks at corners (Corvettes), all gauges work, couple of dash bulbs out, horn button under dash (needs new wire down steering column). All mechanical needs minor, could drive daily now. Closeup of drivers front fender, above wheel ,opening show a couple of small paint chips resulting in a couple of gel coat stress cracks on top of the fender which almost don't show; all before my ownership. The car has a couple of minor finish blemishes but I elected to leave it original. Hog troughs have seen rain less than 6 times in my ownership. Interior is nice with the ladies high heel mark (1st owner) still on the drivers floor carpet. Exhaust, clutch assembly, disk brake cylinders, water pump and battery have less than 6K miles. The stock wheels and hubcaps are included. As to title, in 1970 NH did not require a title, it has been registered to me every year since 1970. More photos and details available to serious inquiry. Delivery will be in person and you can drive it home wherever or I will try to assist.
