1963 STUDEBAKER AVANTI 2 DOOR WITH V8 # Up for auction Is a 1963 Studebaker Avanti 2 door with v8 motor. My father was working on this before he became Ill and was not able to finish it. It is sitting on 4 jacks as he was replacing the brake lines. The rear end is not attached. leaf springs are on the floor. Car has been sitting for around 6 years. Everything should be in the garage ( somewhere! ) The interior is all out, gas tank is out, wheels are off. Engine has 80,000 original miles on it. There has been no engine work done on the car. Was running before he started working on it, but like I said, it's been up on jacks for 6 years. I don't know what size the motor it is. I do know that it isn't the super charged motor. I'll post as soon as i find out. There is some mold and mildew on the dash and seats. Frame looks good still. Body is fiberglass and is in pretty good shape. This is a classic car that needs to be brought back to her once beautiful self from the ground up. My father was the 2nd owner. The tag on the dash says, Quality Built expressly for John Minehart, so if your the Original owner here it is. You'll need to bring a flat bed trailer to haul it off on. We are not able to help with any shipping. We'll have all the parts there ready for you to take. The car is located in N.W. Tennessee by Murray Kentucky. We hate to see her go. we would like to see a new owner make her pretty again so we are listing this with NO RESERVE. Someone's going to own a new project!!!
