87 HO Coupe ///////TCC solenoid is not getting power to engage////// The brake switch on my 200 4R uses vacuum to signal the cruise control to disconnect. The electrical side of the switch provides power to the TCC clutch. Stepping on the brake pedal breaks the connection and disconnects the TCC. (I put an ohmmeter on the brake switch. There is no continuity open or closed. The brake lights work! ) Peter ------------------------------ Motor/Alldata site says for no power; At the OBD1 plug-in, bottom of dash left of steering column. Connect test light between Terminal A & Terminal F. If test light glows, transmission should be getting power. If you still have no power at transmission you have a break in the wire harness. If no light check for blown fuse, will be marked "gauges" on most models on the fuse block. I would check all fuses with test light. Check for current from stop light switch, one side will be hot at all times and the other side will be hot with brake pedal applied.
