Looking for the two Kent-Moore pilot studs J 4284 for the early stude DG automatic. If some one that has them can just give me the measurements, I'll make a copy. These were part of the Kent-Moore DG essential service tool kit.

Kdancy,

The early DG and the later Flightomatic use the same J-4284 pilot studs. You can make these be taking a Grade 5 capscrew, 7/16"-14 thread, cutting the head off, tapering the end, and cutting a slot in the end with a hacksaw. Dimensions are: overall length = 2-3/8"; thread length = 1-1/8"; tapered section length = 1/2"; tapers down to 1/4" at the end.

Pics are below. I couldn't resist taking an extra picture of the Kent-Moore bag, it is pretty cool!
