Studebaker/Avanti Automatic transmission Flex Plate
The flex plate will definitely crack ( and soon) if the dial-in procedure isn't within spec. Over a period of time, it may crack even if the alignment is correct, but it will take a lot of miles.
One method to extend the life of the flexplate is to install 2 of them and omit the reinforcement ring.
Parts 0105-65 / 0105-68
Bolts between the crankshaft flange and the torque converter to reinforce/strengthen the mount.
0105-65 is the flex plate / 0105-68 is the reinforcement ring.
