If the leather itself isn't cracked, you can restore them to a beautiful supple condition yourself. I'm (slowly) doing the interior of my '79 in the following manner: Lacquer thinner good respirator neoprene gloves fine steel wool (2/0) fresh air A coffee can full of the lac thinner, dip the steel wool in it and start scouring. The finish will melt off, leaving uncracked leather underneath. Then to refinish, go to www.colorplus.com and get some SOFFENER leather conditioner and SURFLEX color. My seats were burgundy with silver-gray piping. I picked up a small jar of Metal Effects silver acrylic paint at my local paint store and redid the piping with a small brush and a lot of patience. Looks good! Mike RQB-2851 June 2002 -------
