On the full flow block, it refers to a full flow filter. You can tell these by looking at the lower right (PS) side of the block. If it is full flow, the (spin-on) oil filter will be there and not on top of the engine. Only some 62' and all '63 and '64 engines had the full flow. The full flow blocks were introduced in April 62 and many 62's were so equipped. The early production '62 engines did not have it. The change took place on or about April 17th at engine number S-248301 for 6's and V-559387 for V8's.
