Borrani Wire Wheels

Borrani is now owned/run, etc. by a larger Italian concern named Costruzioni 
Meccaniche Rho, which is based in Milan. 

They can't sell directly to U.S. retail customers but do all sales through 
an agent.  Said agent is Ted Weibel, who lives in Denver. His number in 
Denver is 303-984-9999.

I'd like to recommend Mike at Valley Wire Wheel, 818-765-3258, in the 
SanFernando Valley.  He restores Borranis and all other wire wheels, 
but is also quite knowledgeable about most related issues as well.  
He really came through for me in a jam.  His work is excellent, his 
prices quite fair, and a good guy as well.

rebuild - 
I had a set of Borrani's restored by Dayton for a customer's Maserati
several years ago, and was about $1500 for a set of four AFAIR.  This
included polished stainless spokes.  So far the ones on my Avanti are in
good shape and I haven't had to have them refurb'd.  I would definitely
go with the stainless spokes and nipples even tho they are expensive.
