1964 Studebaker Avanti R1 Automatic - Very Good Condition (Torch Red)

You are bidding on a 1964 Studebaker Avanti R1 with Automatic Transmission.  The vehicle was restored in 1993 and painted 1986 Buick Torch Red (Base Coat / Clear Coat).

• The car was restored as close to original condition as possible and only has 89,600 miles to date.
• The car has a High Performance 289 V8 with automatic transmission.  The interior is black vinyl and comes with walnut dash interior.

Additions / Alterations
The vehicle has had a stainless steel exhaust fitted, and has had upgraded wheel cylinders on the disc brakes.

Maintenance / History
The car was purchased in 1968 and has been regularly maintained.  Four Michellin tires have recently been fitted and are used to approximately 100 miles.  These are the Studebaker recommended size and were limited availability.  The VIN is clearly visible, however documentation relating to the vehicle was lost due to damage at keepers previous residence.  All legal owner documentation is intact and would be supplied.

The vehicle has been stored during the winter periods keeping its bodywork out of the elements during bad weather conditions.  The car outside of these times is always kept in a sealed garage away from any enviromental risk elements.  The vehicle has minimum or no rust.  This fibreglass body was fitted with round headlights at the factory instead of square ones.

This vehicle shows minimum wear in the interior (door panels require re-stitching in places) and the steering wheel needs minor repair.  The power steering is currently inoperable, but all parts required for this to be restored will be supplied with the vehicle.  The tachometer is inoperative.  The paint has minimal dings, however this can be easily repaired and does not impose on the overall condition of the vehicle.  There is one side of the trunk carpet removed/missing.  All lights (interior and exterior) are in full working order.  With exception to the areas stated above, the car is in a driveable condition.  The car will come complete with the original AM radio (supplied separately).

Conditions of Sale
Upon completion of the sale, a deposit of $400 is required via Paypal within 3-4 days of auction close.  The remaining balance is required by certified bankers check  or money order.  Funds must be cleared before release of vehicle.  Potential buyers are welcome to view / inspect the vehicle during the auction period (to be arranged in advance of auction close).  This is a legally binding contract, and by bidding on this vehicle, you agree to purchase as stated.  Vehicle would be for collection by the buyer and is sold as seen.  All costs associated with transportation / collection would be at the buyers expense.  There will be no refund or partial refund offered against this purchase.  The vehicle is described to the best of my knowledge and has been stated truthfully.
