RQBMISC - MIRROR - Avanti Electric Mirrors - These mirrors where used on Alfa 
Romeo's in the early 80's and are available through their dealers at somewhat 
of a higher price than if you go direct to the supplier. The supplier is Torino
 Industries at 6450 W. 66th Place, Bedford Park, Ill. 60638.  Telephone number 
is 708-496-0805. The mirror is made by Vitaloni and is called a Tornado 
Visiomatic. The right side part number is 5544 and the left side is 5579. All 
of this is good news in that they are out there to buy. The bad news is that 
they cost $178.00 per mirror.  Be carefull with these as they do break. My 
suggestion is to drop a little wd-40 on the pivot point once in a while since 
that is where mine broke and is made out of pot metal.

hose Note-from the factory this hose has a 90 degree formed end under the 
dashboard to connect with the heater valve.  There is room to arc a straight 
hose under the dash and not kink it.  I couldn't find a formed hose.

core connector Note-this hose is a 5/8" hose with an expansion to 3/4" on one 
end (the valve is 5/8" and the core is 3/4").  You have to cut 30" off the 
5/8" off and throw it away but you end up with a perfect replacement hose for 
the OEM part.

RQBMISC - CCON - 1983 Catalytic Converter - CATCO converter #CAT 4111/DIRECT FIT REPLACEMENT.  CATCO has it listed for a 78 MONTE CARLO!!  No Welding, No Flange Work, Nothing!!!! Fits right in like a hot dog in a bun!  Leave the heat shield on the car-
(NOTE)-This converter- CATCO 4111- fits my NA 83 and Chucks 82 Plain Jane 
305. I suspect it will fit all earlier Plain Jane 305 applications 
as well.

The CATCO 4111 Will Not fit my 85 Blake with the 305 HO motor.  The 
HO's converter is welded in, not bolted, and has a different 
in'e/out'e configuration. I have not yet found a replacement for 
Blake 305 HO's converter.

RQBMISC  - Catalytic Converter - 82 Avanti  - used a DynoMax pn 289 15142 from 
JEGS here in the Columbus area. Our car does require a air injection line to 
the cat so I had to do a little fabricating but otherwise a local muffler shop 
installed it in less than 30 minutes. The improvement in performance was 
remarkable and the oil leaks quickly subsided as the back pressure was 
reduced. The cat cost $119.99.
