I bought this wonderful Avanti II from the original dry climate California owner
 two years ago. It was his pride and joy. Garaged and faitfully maintained.

It was transported enclosed to Michigan where my excellent collector car mechanic
 went carefully through all systems. Air conditioning compressor was replaced and
 the system converted to 134a. A "quick steering" kit was installed and handling
 was greatly improved.

Tires and battery were replaced.

The steel underbody has never  had  a hint of rust. I owned a brand new 1979
 Avanti II and this is certainly a time warp and a sheer joy to drive!

The paint is quite good and the leather interior fine with a proper patina
 of 30 years.

I'm a serious collector and have decided to reduce my collection to a more
 manageable size and that's why I'm offering it for sale.

Personal inspection is an excellent idea and highly recommended.
