This car was a driver’s car not a show car. Although, with minor paint, leather, and woodwork this car could be a great show car. My father was the 3rd owner of this beautiful car, he purchased it on 9/1/90 and it had 33k miles. There were 2 previous owners, the original owner was in Florida and sold the car with 22k miles on it to another gentleman here in PA.

My father was a complete Avanti enthusiast, collecting as much literature on the car as possible and researching this car all the way back to the production line. He grew up with his father owning a garage and knew his way around the engine, thus he did quite a bit of the work himself. Any mechanical work since 9/89 has been kept on record. Towards the late 90’s my father had been having some health problems that kept him from driving the car very often, only 2000 local miles have been driven since 1998. The car was only driven in the spring/summer and was taken to local car shows, cruise nights, ect where it of course, always draws attention. The original wheels/tires have been kept on display in our garage. My father passed away 10/02, and although this car is a limited production and very unique and well cared for, I do not have the dedication that a true Avanti owner should.

After the recent repairs and having a well known restoration expert researching what this vehicle should sell for, the asking price will be $17,900.
