 TOOK OVER THE AVANTI PLANT IN 1987. IT HAS THE WOOD RIMMED STEERING WHEEL WITH HIS SIGNATURE. THE 
ODOMETER SHOWS 38,167 MILES FROM NEW, AND IT CAME FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO BOUGHT IT IN 1987, AND 
KEPT IT AT HIS FLORIDA HOME ALL THESE YEARS, FOR OCCASIONAL USE.

 

THE FIBERGLASS BODY HAS HAD ONE VERY GOOD REPAINT IN THE ORIGINAL STRIKING HEAVY METALLIC MEDIUM BLUE,
 AND THERE ARE, AND HAVE NEVER BEEN ANY RUST ISSUES UNDER THIS CAR.  THE TOP IS NOT NEW, BUT THERE ARE
 NO RIPS OR TEARS, AND IT IS MADE FROM BLUE STAYFAST MATERIAL, WHICH WAS THE BEST YOU COULD BUY. THE
 REAR WINDOW HAS BEEN RECENTLY REPLACED, AND IS CRYSTAL CLEAR PLASTIC AS ORIGINAL.

 

TIRES ARE AS NEW WHITE WALLS, AND THE CHROME WIRE WHEELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT DO HAVE SOME SLIGHT 
SURFACE RUST ON THE INNER PLATE. INSTRUMENTS WORK PROPERLY, FRONT DISC AND REAR DRUM BRAKES HAVE BEEN
 DONE, CAR STARTS AND RUNS AS IT SHOULD WITH NO ISSUES. ALL POWER EQUIPMENT WORKS AND YOU CAN JUMP IN
 THIS CAR AND DRIVE IT ANYWHERE, WITHOUT WORRY.

 

THE ONLY ISSUES ARE AS FOLLOWS, THERE IS A HOLE AT THE SIDE OF THE LEATHER IN THE DRIVERS SEAT 
(PICTURED), A SET OF LUXURIOUS MOUTON BUCKET SEAT COVERS WERE INSTALLED, CARPET IN THE TRUNK WOULD 
BENEFIT FROM A RENEW, CARPET IN THE CAR HAS SOME SLIGHT FADING IN SPOTS, AND THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT
 DING ON THE STAINLESS COVER DRIVERS SIDE WINDSHIELD POST (PICTURED).
