1987 Avanti convertible #50 of less than 100 produced. Power steering, power 
brakes, power windows, power drivers seat. AM FM CD, tilt, pwr top, wood grain 
dash and console. This is as close as it gets to frame off restoration, only the
 body was left on during restoration. The frame was scraped, sanded, painted. The
 body had Lizard skin applied to bottom and and inside for noise control and heat
 transfer. then the restoration began.
    Suspension all scraped, sanded and painted. Then, new upper and lower ball
 joints, control arm bushings, all tie rod ends, all sway bar bushings, trailing
 arm bushings, adjustable upper trailing arms, front and rear shock absorbers,
 rear end axle and pinion seals, and new differential cover gasket.

   Steering has rebuilt gearbox, power steering pump and lines, aligned fine. 
new tires and wheels.
   Brakes; rebuilt vacuum canister, master cylinder. New flex lines, new front 
rotors and pads. Rear wheel cylinders and shoes.
   Drive train; New GM Crate 350-300hp engine. transmission 2004R resealed and 
checked. New motor and transmission mounts. Drive shaft balanced. Differential 
and transmission degree'd to each other. New exhaust from manifold back. New 
battery, starter, alternator, intake manifold, carburetor, Accel distributor,
 air conditioning dryer and two AC lines, radiator and heater core re cored, 
thermostat, sending unit, water pump, radiator overflow canister, all hoses,
 all belts.
    New convertible top is fabric, not vinyl.
    New headliner, hydraulic pump, one cylinder rebuilt, new hyd lines, new 
conv boot, new windshield and gasket.
    Interior was originally red, now its black, patterned off original. New
 carpet and floor mats. The interior of this car is flawless and gorgeous.

    The paint was originally white, now its black. Dupont base cote, clear
 cote. The engine conpartment was painted before engine installation. Hood,
 doors, trunk, bumpers, body all painted then resembled. And yes, the doors,
 hood, trunk, body lines match up like a new car, not like an Avanti, because 
the body work and fitting was done, then disassembled for paint. New rubber 
seals on trunk, hood, headlights, doors, handles,etc...
    Im not saying the car is perfect. Almost. The cruise control does not have
 cable, dont know if it works or not. Power locks work from driver side, but not
 passenger. the remote mirrors work intermittently, I think its the switch, and 
cigarette lighter doesnt work.
    When looking at the pics, you will see two different sets of wheels. Buyer 
may take set of their choice. Second set available for negotiation.
    The vin # is 16 digits from the factory. eBAY REQUIRED A 17 DIGIT VIN FOR 
LISTING PURPOSES. THE LAST 1 WAS ADDED. THE VIN# IS 12AAV222H1000050. So you'll
 temporarily confuse the motor vehicle people. Besides this list, I have many
 photos of the restoration and receipts.
    The car is super fantastic,  drive it anywhere, or all the time, for years
 to come. The pictures dont do this car justice. It is a people magnet. Its been
 in one car show and won first place in its class. Out of town buyers more than
 welcome to send knowledgeable appraiser to inspect car.
    Deposit of $1000 due within two days. Balance within one week by cashiers 
check or in person. But car does not leave until funds have cleared. Buyer
 responsible for transportation or pick up.
