I am the 4th owner of the 1964 R-1, which I purchased for $7,500 in 1993 in 
Villa Park, CA. The 2nd owner had it registered in Placentia, CA in 1965 and
 sold it to the 3rd owner in 1989. It has been serviced in 1989 at Frend 
[Studebaker] Auto Service in Anaheim, CA in 1989, then Myer's Studebaker 
in Culver City, CA from 1990 to 1995. John Metzker took care of it after 
the Meyers moved back to Ohio and until I moved it to Montana in 2005
