1964 AVANTI 100% rust free

1964 avanti is up for sale as I need to raise money quick. Car is a 1963 model titled new as a 1964 by studebaker. Vin is R4618 which tells me it was one if the last 1963 avantis made. This car is ROCK SOLID and has ZERO rust anywhere.

I have never seen better original hog troughs and the frame is like a chalk board...no scale or even the slightest seperation between the frame rails and bottom plate.
This car spent it life in oregon and is a great car to start with. Its an R-1 with air conditioning, avanti grey with a red and fawn interior.
Driver seat is torn and carpets are moldy but the dash is really good and the
interior appears to be all original studebaker issue.

The body on this car is extremely straight with no visible signs of an accident but paint looks like crap.
Drivers tailight is smashed and has small repair under the bezel but very minor. All glass, stainless etc. is there in fact the car looks 100 % complete except for the ignition shielding.

Make no mistake, this is a project but its all there and is solid as hell. Has good tread on tires but they look like belted bias.
Motor will turn over and run for a few seconds but then dies out, as I think the gas is bad....smells funky .

I need to sell this quick and I think 8000.00 is a fair deal . If nobody here wants it, it goes on ebay.
