If you want to take a look at it email me at chirslanebrewer@gmail.com
or phone me at 319-936-2935 and leave a message. The paint
has deteriorated substantially in the last few years with flaking on the
roof and the hood. The paint job is nearly 40 years old. I just
installed a new starter and the power brake booster and alternator are
relatively new.
Fiber optics from lights to display on hood ornament and under rear window
Highly visible three bulb tail-lights.They used to blink sequentially.
Electric windows
Two rear window defrosters, one fan built into the hatch to the trunk, the other a wire lattice attached to rear window.
Interior lights mounted to doors to light doors when open
Electric hood and trunk release
Cruise control ….added later, it has not worked since I have owned the car. Air conditioning, but it too needs to be upgraded

The
engine may be 1970 Chevy 350 with Holley 4 barrel from a 1970 Camaro
Z28 rated at 360hp. The Holley numbers and head casting numbers
match the manual transmission LT-1 of that year. It has an
Edelbrock 600 carburetor on it right now. I have the Holley
that came with the engine. Edelbrock intake etc Stainless steel exhaust except for quieter mufflers.
Remote electric hood and trunk release larger front wheel disk brake calipers installed from a 1971 Duster Avanti II high-back bucket seats Stainless Flexfan with aluminum shroud New starter, alternator, and battery Good glass with a few scratches on backseat wing window
Safety Features Added
lights mounted in doors that light when open
Three
light bulbs in each taillight instead of one. They used to blink
sequentially. The increased visibility is important for such a
small taillight. My dad's Avanti was hit from behind while he was
making a left turn. The other driver did not see the turn signal.
Front
high-back bucket seats from an Avanti II. I have the original low
seat backs, but I do regard a headrest as a valuable piece of safety
equipment.
Chevy 350 with a stainless flexfan and a custom built aluminum radiator shroud.
Edelbrock 600 to replace Holley 780...
(list number 4555 for the Holley). I still have the Holley which
gave neck breaking acceleration but I gained perhaps 25% in fuel
mileage.
