Up for bid is a beautiful and powerful 1975 Avanti II.  The car is ready to drive home for some summer fun.  To keep as a classic or to drive daily, this car will make some ‘ebayer’ a great investment.

Originally produced in South Bend, Indiana, this Avanti was sold to Titus Olds-Cadillac, Inc. in Hanover, PA.  We have the original invoice from 1975!  This Avanti has a powerful 400 cubic inch, 300hp V-8 with freshly rebuilt GM turbo-hydromatic transmission.  Optional equipment on this car includes power steering, tilt wheel, cruise control, air conditioning, electric windows, tinted side windows, leather interior, electric door locks, AM/FM stereo, Lucas driving lights, mag wheels, door and fender protectors, front seat arm rest and rear window de-icer.  The car also comes with the additional California Bumper, currently not on the car but all the brackets are there for easy mounting.

The car runs very well.  It has been professionally services and maintined.  It goes down the road straight with no issues.  The transmission had a lazy shift out of first so the whole transmission was rebuilt by a professional transmission shop.  Not a cheap repair but done properly.

This Avanti has been kept in the garage and put in storage for winter months.  As a result, the body and undercarriage (frame) are in rust-free condition.  Most of the chrome is good; however there is some minor rust on the front bumperettes.

The exterior of the car is silver frost, having been recently repainted.  The tires are very good with plenty of life left in them.  All are mounted on mag wheels.

The interior of the car is very nice.  The carpeting is good as well as the leather seats.  The dashboard is in excellent condition.

There is little tweaking that a true collector would want to do.  Overall the car runs great and is in very good condition for a 1975.  This classic car stands out from all other cars.
