64 GT Hawk VIN 64V2488 (2000 - 2014)

Acquired February 2000 - Ebay - I drove it into the garage, to check it over and it stayed there for 7+ years, getting renovated (on & off).

.....but it's back!!!

Current equipment...
Air Conditioned (R-134)(new system), new short block, original number engine, 3 row radiator, R1 cam, Larger valves, Rebuilt Powershift Automatic, 3:31 axle, Full Instrumentation, Turner Disk Brakes, Master Power Brakes combo valve, New rear drums & hardware, Mitsubishi master Cylinder with remote filler, New Headliner, sidepanels, New windshield, New Alternator, New Hydrovac, New Wiper motor, New Floors, new sub floor boxes, new body/frame supports, New body mount biscuits, Universals, 500 CFM AFB, AM/FM radio, Electric radio Antenna.

The interior is completely new, side panels and headliner and carpets. The seats are from an 80-ish Chrysler New Yorker. The drivers seat is all power, not my choice, but very comfortable on a trip, right down to the cupholders. I have original seats in the attic, awaiting upholstery.

September 2008 was the inaugural for the car. After some teething pains with a bad distributor, the car currently runs very nicely and everything works. 2400RPM @ 60MPH, never above 175 on the temp, 50-60# oil pressure cold and at speed, warm. First calculation gave a yield of around 19 MPG.
