1964 Studebaker GT Hawk
289 V8, Power-Shift automatic, Power Disk brakes, Power steering, Power drivers seat, AIR
 Conditioned, radial tires, full instrumentation, original engine/transmission.  Build sheet available.

Engine:
289 V8, new Edelbrock 500CFM carb, Avanti R1 cam, solid lifters, forged crank and rods.  Oil 
pressure is 50# cold / 20-30# warm.
Short block rebuilt in late 90's (Cylinders still have cross-hatching) / Heads completely 
rebuilt in 2001, new larger valves, guides, etc. Less than 10 hours on engine since 2000.  All 
new gaskets and seals.  Engine does not leak any fluids.  Heat riser removed, manual choke, 
auxiliary electric fuel pump on dash switch / All rubber fuel lines have been replaced with SAE 
grade 9 (alcohol tolerant, fuel injection rated)/ Gas tank cleaned and coated with alcohol 
resistant liner.  Avanti HD water pump (gusseted bearing housing).  All heater and cooling 
hoses are new.  New belts, six-blade fan.  New oil pressure flex line.  Chrome valve covers.


Transmission:
PowerShift Transmission rebuilt in late 90's.  Less than 4000 miles on car since. (Uses Dexron-
III_Mercon), Manual Floor shift.  2nd gear start, runs and shifts fine.

Rear Axle:
3:31 ratio (open) New axle seals, pinion seal, fluid and cover gasket. 

Exhaust:
Completely new exhaust system, head pipes through exhaust tips, quiet mufflers.


NOS Studebaker Air Conditioning System, converted to R134a and serviced on an added HD wiring 
circuit.

New windshield and gasket, new wiper motor, new interior side panels and headliner, 55 amp GM 
Alternator, with upgraded wiring circuit (original Prestolite is available).  Halogen 
headlights wired with HD relay system to factory switch.  Third brake/signal light on package 
shelf.   New Horns / AM/FM/ cassette radio / Original AM radio available

BRAKES:
Power Disk brakes /  NOS Type A Hydrovac ;
 Front: Turner Disk brakes (Nov 2007) / Mitsubishi Eclipse Master cylinder with remote 
reservoir / All new steel brake lines and rubber hoses. Mechanical brake light switch

 Rear Brakes:
   Finned 11" Drums:  New wheel cylinders, brake shoes and rear brake hardware/ Drums are 75% 
serviceable / DOT4 fluid

Suspension:
 New rubber inner bushings, king pin bearings / A-arm hardware upgraded to grade 10 with top 
lock nuts.  HD front springs with rubber isolators.


Wheels/Tires:
New steel 15X6" rims - lug nuts, with new Firestone 205/75R15 radial tires.   As of July 2008, 
only about 50 miles on the tires.

Body Renovated between 2000 and 2007 / Body was disassembled and stripped to metal/ New sub-
floor boxes, body braces/ rocker panels / Front floors etc.  Any and ALL rust removed, repaired 
with metal /Sealed with POR-15 / Front fenders sealed at cowl / Vent door tunnels are as new / 
Floors covered with epoxy resin and fiberglass matting / Trunk has new 14 gauge supports in 
corners, carpeted throughout/ Painted November 2006.

Newly plated bumpers  / all stainless buffed / wheel well mouldings are like new.  New trunk 
emblem / door handles / door handle guard accessories / Grille and top emblem are original / 
Like new Headlight doors /
) Seats are mid 90's Chrysler.  Power drivers seat
