This was it!
The area on the front fender was marked around the 'bondo' rise
This was the "Artistry"....
The sander took off the paint and plastic quickly to reveal the rivets,
which were drilled out and removed
The patch was removed and exposed the corroded area, which wasn't too bad.
A short dip in hydrochloric acid quickly removed the caked rust. The hard stuff has to be picked out bit by bit and a few sessions in the dip will leave a clean surface to start the repair
