Check back...
So the rear quarter upper arrives from Classic and it's a 90 degree formed piece with a rolled edge. To make it conform to the contour of the quarter, sipes have to be cut along the length.
Use your Sawz-all to remove the crusty area. The pattern here indicates that
even significant rust will not require cutting the entire top section off. (could be wrong)
Start the section by anchoring it with screws and work forward or back
Openings are cut along the length at random to allow the piece to form

along the curve of the inner fender. Screws were used to fasten it securely

Until it was even across the fender.

When it's finally set, you'll notice the rolled section is too wide for the fender to bolt to, so take it back off and start some massaging
So when you get it back on it looks like this

Now on to the fender repair. I had to laugh at the way this was done previously. You could have done a better job in half the time if they did it right

What I'd like you to look at is that door to fender spacing. Quite nice
I was toying with using a screen to back up a POR-15 application, but I've decided to braze in a section
