Body work / Start February 2001

Rear View. Front Drivers side Main body brace. Bottom edge shows tin sheet wrapped around from front which formed some of the DS floorpan.
There were no bolts attaching the body to the crossmember.

This is the rear DS body brace. The bolt was removed to show the rust hole. The rocker panel is in good shape.

Mid DS body mounting point...rust hole

Rear DS body brace looking forward. Some undercoating removed in exploration

A closer shot of above. Evidence of tin sheet being used to wrap inner body behind fender. The underside fender fastening bolts fell out.

Front DS wheelwell looking rearward. Tin sheet screwed from brake pedal down and around front body brace>
Sub floor box shows deterioration along drain holes

Driver side front body brace showing ring from rubber mount cushion and NO bolthole??!!
Drain hole corrosion along rocker.
Sheet metal screws in floor pan edge.
Drivers side footwell before removing bad metal.
This piece fell out when screws were removed. Notice the great welding job...
The lower pillar area is gone down to the main brace
Removing another piece revealed more
The outside of the rocker looks good

So it needs sub floor boxs, and main body braces on each side
