Getting the fender off was fairly easy. The best part of this exercise is That I found that the fender was brand new. That, alone, made the day, given that the rest of the body was a P.O.S.
There looked to be a soft spot on the ramp of the floor
The telltale patches are a sign
Corner of the floor is toast
Pulling up the carpet tells all. Sheet metal tack welded and sealed with caulking
The floor is still connected to the door jamb tho....
Peeling it back to see the rot.
Not a pretty sight...
